Hongliang Li joined the Photonic systems Group at Tyndall as a PhD student under CDT PIADS program in 2023. His research title is “Advanced Digital Signal Processing Enabling Flexible Coherent PON towards 200G/λ and Beyond”, under the supervision of Dr. Xing Ouyang and Prof. Paul Townsend. The focus of his research is to investigate advanced digital signal processing techniques for coherent PON systems to enable flexible and efficient communication systems.
Hongliang obtained his Bachelor’s degree from School of Optical and electronic information(2019) and his Master’s degree from Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics(2022) in Huazhong University of Science & Technology, China.
