Matthew Hall joined Tyndall as a Postdoctoral Researcher position in the Photonics Packaging group, specialising in utilising machine vision for the automation of advanced optical packaging in Si and InP based photonic systems and micro-optics.
He holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering (graduated in 2016) and a PhD in Applied Optics (graduated in 2021) titled “Applied Digital Holography for 3D Metrology of Mosquito Flight”. Both were achieved from his studies at the University of Warwick.
