In 2021 Swati Mukherjee joined the ‘Epitaxy & Physics of Nanostructures’ group under the supervision of Dr Emanuele Pelucchi, commencing her PhD which is funded by Science Foundation Ireland (SFI). She is working on epitaxially grown quantum dots for Laser and other photonic-integrated device applications.
Swati holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, India. She received her Master’s degree in Nanoscience & Technology from Pondicherry University, India where she worked on heavy metal free quantum dots for display applications.
