Yeasir Arafat joined Tyndall National Institute in July 2021. His doctoral research focuses on integrated photonic sensors. His PhD program is funded by Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) under the Center for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Photonic Integration and Advanced Data Storage (PIADS), collaborating with University of Glasgow and Queen’s University Belfast.
Yeasir Arafat received a Joint Master’s Degree in Photonics from Aston University (UK) and Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (IT) and a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from AIUB (BD). He acted as the group leader of the Mars Rover project of AIUB in 2017 which was invited by The Mars Society – USA.
